To Utah we go!!

Mission Reunion

From August 2000-2002, Freeman served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Washington D.C. He taught about Jesus Christ and served the people in the community. When we took a trip up to Utah, we had a small reunion of other missionaries who served with him. It was great to hear everyone's memories of all the people they taught and everyone's progress. I am so proud of my husband for serving a mission. He had grown so much spiritually and was full of so much knowledge when he came home. His family was blessed while he was gone and I feel like our own little family is blessed by him serving a mission.

Grandma and Grandpa Erickson came down from Emmett, Idaho to visit with us in Utah. They surprised the kids with a new quad!
They even picked out a blue quad to match Daddy Freeman's quad!

Freeman's first ride.
After a few minutes he was standing up just like how dad does it.

Here is Nate admiring the quad. He was chasing it around saying, "Broom Broom"

Nate's first ride.

He wouldn't hold on to the handle bars(I don't know if he could even lift his arms in that jacket), but he kept his foot on the pedal and loved it.

AZ friends Reunion

We had made some really great friends in Phoenix, but unfortunately, they all moved! So we had a reunion up in Sandy, Utah at the Prestwich's home. We had such a great time. We had a tournament of air hockey, darts, foosball, 9ball, and fit Wii. Somehow everyone won, but the Carney fam, but we still had a great time! We even played rock band, and somehow convinced me to try the vocals. (First time ever in the history of tiff's life of ever singing karokee) Here are some pics of our weekend!

Here we are at the Draper Temple Open House. This is where the Temple is open to the public before it is dedicated. We first met at the church where they had a video about temples, and then we were bused up the mountain. You quietly walk through the temple where they have signs explaining the different rooms. At the very end they took us in small groups and we were able to sit in the Sealing Room (where couples get married) and explained it.

After going through the temple, they had a church next door where they had beautiful pictures of Christ and a number of temples found throughout the world. Both the boys loved going through and I think their favorite was the huge chandeliers the rooms had.

At Thanksgiving Point they have a great Dinosaur Museum.

Nate wasn't too happy about this shark attack.

Nate was all over the place. Here he is looking around at the dinosaurs.

Celebrating Cardinals Super Bowl

Freeman is one of the most dedicated fans of the Cardinals. So of course we had to throw a Superbowl Party in honor of the Cardinals greatest accomplishment. We had great food and games and just loved to cheer on the team. Here are some pictures below of the big day!

Little Freeman couldn't wait to have these football cupcakes.
He even snuck one to Nate who was covered with icing after we found out.
